Terrible customer service

You would be much better off ordering from a retailer that carries Le Creuset. Their products are amazing but their customer service is awful. I ordered a wedding gift, they sent the wrong color, the color I ordered was then sold out. Ok, mistakes happen, it's not the end of the world. But then the amount of work and phone calls it took to get the item returned was absolutely ridiculous. For a high-end brand I expected at least the bare minimum of help. I ended up ordering a replacement from Sur La Table. I've learned my lesson and will never order directly from them again.

Terrible Experience - I would give negative 100 if possible.

I never got my Dutch oven. After 2 months, and receiving two items (neither of which I had ordered and which had to be returned), I asked for my money back. I was told both times that my order was reentered, but I would have to choose a new color since the color I had picked was no longer available. I never received any email or phone call telling me this. I had to keep calling to ask why I didn't receive my Dutch oven. It was then that I was told it was because the color was not available. As I said I have finally asked for my money to be returned. You have had my money for two months. I will now look to buy a different brand and will tell everyone I know to not buy from Le Creuset. The service is terrible.

Don't believe the specs listed on the website!

The website description in Feb. 2024 when I ordered said it was 6.3 inches tall. Item came and it was 4 inches tall. Spent three weeks arguing with customer service and waiting for an answer on whether I received the wrong item, or if the website was wrong. Turns out, the website was wrong. But rather than order a different item that is more in line with what I want, I think I'll check out Staub or another brand, cause I wasn't happy with this experience. If I'm buying an item that should last a lifetime and costs as such, then the very first thing out of the customer service agent should be "I'm sorry you aren't happy with the item you received" regardless of whether I was wrong or the marketing group was wrong.

Horrible customer service

Do not order direct from Le Creuset. The customer service is awful. I wanted to exchange for a different color, but they were all out. You have to call in to do all returns/exchanges. Waited on hold for 30 minutes. They offered no help with return shipping costs. And when I voiced my frustration with the return process there was no apology.

Spacious and great for browning meat and vegetables

The Le Creuset Signature Round Wide Oven provides plenty of room for browning large amounts of meat or vegetables, and it browns the meat better than my non-stick pan. Just remember to heat the pan on low temperature before adding the meat. I stirred the meat constantly, which may have contributed to the good results. The wide oven also did a great job when cooking cabbage for haluski. I wasn't sure if I would like the lower walls of the wide oven, but it makes it easy to stir ingredients, so I like it very much. Clean-up is easy. I chose the color Azure, which is a beautiful, vibrant blue.

In love!

In love with this cookware. Size, height, weight is perfect for stove and oven use. Used it to make osso bucco the week we got it and it hasn’t left the stove top since. I think it’s the most perfect cookware we have. It’s pricey but very well made and it delivers the flavor. I’m so glad i bought this despite hesitating on the price.

Waited till a couple of years ago to purchase my first piece. Now up to 5. Love them all. Only regret is that I waited so long. Senior now and don't cook as often as. I use to but do much more interesting meals now because of how amazing they come out using Le Cresuet. The amazing heat and even cooking to go along with the ease of clean make any home cook or chef shine! And even though you don't need as many pieces, always want another to add another color to collection. I started with all Oyster to stay neutral but gave in because the colors are so beautiful. Now have Nector and Articot. Baking dishes in Ocean. Dinnerware in French Grey, Oyster and Ocean. Yes I have become an addict.

They cancelled my order after I called them for an update

I tried to order the cerise wide 6 3/4 dutch oven and two weeks went by without an update on whether it shipped or not. So I called. At which point the customer service representative declares that the order was cancelled and proceeds to send the cancellation email during the call saying I should have gotten an email with the cancellation prior to call. They apparently don't have a good way of tracking of what actually is in stock and allows people to order items that might not be in stock. I was wildly frustrated that it took me calling to find out that my order was cancelled. Also, getting sent an email to review my order just rubbed salt into the wound since I never received my order. This was a poor customer service event for me and I will order their brand from their distributors (William and Sonoma) rather than them.
