Great apartment for 4 persons (2 adults & 2 teenage kids). Public transport is nearby and it takes 20 - 30 minutes to get to the city. House was clean and the welcome by the host was good. We enjoyed staying in the house!

Family house in Hedeland

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Zarah’s place is warm and comfortable and I would highly recommend it to others. It’s a great alternative to staying in Copenhagen as it’s about 15mins walk to the train station and then a short train ride to the city centre. There is plenty of space, clean bedding and central heating, including underfloor heating. Zarah is a very responsive host and I can really only say positive things about our stay.

Charming house with a great location.

Debbie Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
Although we were busy travelling and didn’t have much time to enjoy this wonderful space, it had a home like feel for us to rest our heads after long days discovering nearby areas, along with visits to Copenhagen, day trips to Sweden & and overnight stay in Germany. Laust was very responsive to address any of our needs. Our stay was over Christmas & New Year holidays visiting family members, so we weren’t able to enjoy the lovely terrace or gardens on the property. The location is ideal and within walking distance to the beach. It’s also a short 15 minute drive to Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and approximately 30 minute drive to Kronborg Castle. We hope to return in the future to enjoy the outdoor space! We very much appreciate the use of this spacious accommodation during our stay, with attentive hosts!

Green hideout in busy Copenhagen

KelseyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay here and can’t recommend Sam and Dana’s home enough! It was impeccably clean, the beds were super comfy and the place felt comfortable. Getting into the place was really easy and Dana was really responsive. While the town is situation just outside of main city, Copenhagen, the transport system is amazing and very easily navigable. It only takes you less than 15 minutes on a bus or Metro. Close to grocery shops, cafes and restaurants. Such a fab time - thank you Dana and Sam for having us

Cozy apartment - Heart of Copenhagen

HillaryRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Jesper’s apartment was really perfect for our trip. Location can’t be beat, super close to train station/metro, great shopping, excellent market, supermarkets, and so much more. It is on an upper floor and so may not great for folks who aren’t comfortable with stairs and carrying bags up, but the view is lovely makes it worth it. Bathroom is little, but plenty of hot water in the shower. Jesper is so helpful and friendly and you couldn’t ask for a more communicative host. Really loved this sunny apartment and was sad to leave.

We LOVED our 7 night stay with Vender’s!! The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed for a few home cooked meals. The location was ideal with the Metro across the street and the Glass Marketplace around the corner. We had an early arrival time and Vender’s was able to accommodate us. We walked everywhere with ease. Highly recommend staying with Vender’s. ;-)

Prime Location with large balcony+ 2bikes+ parking

AlexRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Natasha was a wonderful host! I generally view Airbnbs as just an accommodation, but this was so much better. Natasha's apartment truly feels like a home in the best way – very cozy (but much larger in person than it seems in photos) with all the kitchen supplies you could want and backup toiletries in case you forgot. She even thought to put an iPhone charger by the couch! Natasha is also the most responsive host I have ever experienced with Airbnb – she was super friendly (but not overbearing) and would reply within minutes, which really gave us peace of mind. Copenhagen is super walkable, but Natasha's apartment is truly central. It was great to wake up and meander to all the places we wanted to visit. We especially loved Kabys across the way – their banana bread is excellent! Overall, Natasha and her lovely home truly elevated our time in Copenhagen and we'd recommend this Airbnb to anyone!

This is a beautiful villa that comes with everything you could possibly need to host a small family. We immediately felt quite cozy in the space as the decorations were present, but not overstated. everything was very easy to find, the beds were made, and we even received a little gift on arrival! The surrounding neighborhood is incredibly safe as well. 10/10.

Penthouse close to beach & metro

LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Beautiful apartment in lovely neighbourhood with excellent transport links to city centre. Helene was a superb host - kind and thoughtful and went out of her way to make it a very special trip for us and our young daughters. We would love to visit later in the year to enjoy the parks and explore more outdoors but had a very special new year's eve watching the many fireworks with a superb view and also enjoyed the beautiful Tivoli in its festive splendour. Copenhagen was an excellent location to visit with children. As well as Tivoli we particularly enjoyed The Experimentarium, Tube and Planetarium. We found getting the 5C bus from a short walk away very easy but also took the Metro and train for days out and all were excellent. Also many supermarkets a short walk away. Thanks Helene for a wonderful stay.

Lovely house in scenic surroundings

AbhinavRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Probably the most wonderful hosts we have come across on Air BnB yet. Kim and Lone were absolutely fantastic to deal with. The house was clean, beautiful and well maintained. Free parking is available as the premises so getting to the central was just 20 mins by car. The house has all the kitchen equipment you possibly need and Kim and Lone have been extremely flexible in allowing us to check in a few hours early as we had an early flight. I not just met the most wonderful hosts but have made friends for life. We will visit this property again and will highly recommend this place to those planning to stay around copenhagen.

Even the pictures were promising and the apartment is actually beautiful. Both the location and the architecture are great and make it possible to really unwind. We felt very comfortable with Peter and the contact was uncomplicated, but also discreet. We took his two kittens to our hearts right away and already miss them. The place is perfect to recharge your batteries. Copenhagen and Malmö are not far away and easy to explore. We say "thank you" dear Peter and can definitely recommend your beautiful house.

Your guide to Copenhagen

All About Copenhagen

The Danish capital city of Copenhagen faces the waters of Øresund — the Sound — on the country’s eastern edge and is linked to neighboring Sweden by the snaking Øresund bridge. Bold, ultra-modern architecture sits comfortably alongside Roman, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque-style buildings. Recent years have cemented Copenhagen as a culinary powerhouse, with a plethora of award-winning restaurants calling the city home. You’ll still find low-key eateries all over town, from kitted-out shipping containers to traditional hot dog kiosks.

Pass by bookshops and bike racks in bohemian neighborhoods on your way to the world-renowned Kunsthal Charlottenborg, one of the leading contemporary art galleries in Europe. The rides and manicured lawns at historic Tivoli Gardens provide an adrenaline rush in magical surroundings, from bright blooms in summer to twinkling lights in the snow. One of the most sustainable metropolitan centers on the planet, Copenhagen boasts open-air bathing pools in the harbor, foraged feasts, and an unwavering sense of style.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Copenhagen

Its location in northern Europe means that Copenhagen experiences cold and dark winter months. But after the ice melts between about May through to September, the city explodes with vibrancy and activity. Pleasant temperatures and long, sun-filled days see bustling sidewalk cafes, live music that floats through the streets, and nightlife that never seems to end. This is also when many of the area’s music and art events occur, including one of Europe’s most well-known annual music festivals south of Roskilde. Despite the generally temperate conditions that come with summer, however, chilly winds can still blow in from the Baltic Sea, so it is a good idea to bring at least a light jacket to your Copenhagen vacation rental, along with an umbrella, as July and August supply most of the year’s rain.

Top things to do in Copenhagen

Copenhagen Botanical Garden

The Copenhagen Botanical Garden is a sanctuary in the heart of the city. Take a break from exploring the cobbled streets and immerse yourself in the impressive collection of more than 13,000 plant species throughout the many greenhouses that date back to the 1800s. The site is home to a vibrant rhododendron garden, a butterfly house, and a Danish beer garden for a tipple in scenic surroundings.

Saunas and spas

An invigorating sauna session is one of the best-known Scandinavian traditions. Copenhagen offers a plethora of public and private spas, and you can soak in a warm bath, sweat in a wooden sauna, or even rent a floating saltwater hot tub while you sail up the river. A trip to the local sauna is a particularly popular pastime on crisp winter days.

Torvehallerne KBH

The Torvehallerne KBH artisanal market is a food lover’s dream come true. This expansive space combines fresh vegetables, fish, spices, and local delicacies. In addition to the permanent shops, more than 80 stalls provide a unique selection of items not typically found in traditional grocery stores or markets. Several vendors also serve meals and desserts to enjoy on-site.
