I was super excited to given this as a gift, as part of the fun is the novelty of the crate and opening it up. Unfortunately, direct from the mail, the crate was already broken, with the top completely off and one side half off. The shipping box was undamaged, so it wasn't damaged in transport and was just poor quality/poorly constructed. The jerky in it looks great (and I'm sure will taste great for the recipient) but to be honest, I would have been further ahead going to different shops and gathering my own varieties of jerky for a gift compared to going this route-- I would have gotten a larger quantity for a better price. The novelty is really the crate and the fun of opening it, but without the crate, it's just "meh". Personally, for the amount this costs, I would have expected better quality and wouldn't say it was worth the purchase.
