Does a good job at lightly moisturizing without leaving behind any buildup or excess oil. Can feel how clean it leaves your hair. The one downside is the scent smells too fruity and cheap. I do like that it has clean ingredients.
I am copying most of my review about same line conditioner, because it applies to shampoo as well, and maybe somebody already had similar experience. I've been a loyal customer pretty much because of this incredible moisturizing line. I have a super dry wavy coarse hair that absorbs any product like blotter. So when they show like "you only need a quarter size etc.", I need at least 5x to even cover my hair. This conditioner/shampoo combo was very emollient and worked wonders, until NOW. I'm not sure when the formula got changed, because my last purchase was in spring 2024, but I still had an unfinished and a full bottle from my previous purchases from July 2022 ( I like buying backup). As a comparison, I have tried a multivitamin conditioner AND shampoo (bright yellow color) and was shocked how drying they was, on top of being so absorbent, that I needed 20 pumps to cover my shoulder length hair (8 pumps for shampoo). It did nothing to me, just left my hair dry. I knew I will never buy that one again, so I didn't bother leaving review. Now, my beloved Moisture Drench conditioner AND shampoo is now what Multivitamin is: drying, not emollient at all, leaving dull and dry feel after rinsing. NOTHING what it used to be... Like I mentioned above, I'm not sure when exactly the formula got changed. I haven't compared to the old one because I don't have the old bottle, and even if 100% Pure says it is the same, NOPE, IT IS NOT, as my hair is still the same, dark, I haven't bleached nor had any chemical treatments and still live in the same conditions as before. It feels like 100% Pure turned their focus from quality to marketing, as I'm getting now at least 3 newsletters A DAY!!!! Sorry guys, but that is a spam already. I am far behind the return window because I purchase as a backup, so it takes quite a few months for me to open my new bottle. But I'm not here for return, I'm writing this because of how disappointed I am as a long time customer. I will not repurchase anymore, as I don't have time for more trials.
