Tons of styrofoam to clean up. Extremely disappointing since it did not protect the product. I bought two and they both look like they've been thrown around.

The bookcases are beautiful and I have received complements on all of them. They are very easy to put together. All parts fit together easily and well. Good precise engineering. I would make one suggestion for tools to have ready at home: a T-Square. Prior to the backing being nailed on, the horizontal vertical pieces can very easily slide out of place. I have bought total of 4 five-shelf bookcases and 4 two shelf ones. The first I built were the 5 shelf ones, and I had a great deal of trouble on the first two until I figured out that I needed to frequently check the alignment with my tee square. After that, the entire process became much easier.

I had the opportunity to assemble six of these bookcases, and enjoyed it every time. There was never a part missing and the construction was solid and well thought out. Every pilot hole was there,instructions were clear.

Easy to assemble and are sturdy. I purchased 3 which arrived in very good condition. I needed a 4th. It was had some nicks are some of the edges. I just used a little matching touchup paint I had on hand. Otherwise, I like this product, and is a good value for my purpose.
