submitted bymamad - 2 years agoA: You will need a hammer and Philips screwdriver to assemble this. It's not difficult. I'd also recommend some wood glue for the wood dowels.

Q: Can you stack 2 of these? We bought several, but now are reorganizing that room and wondering if we could put one on top of another.
A: They are totally stackable I have 6 of them for 3 stacks. Each shelf holds a lot of weight so they hold up great.

Q: Is this bookshelf waterproof I am looking into putting it in a treehouse? If not, are there any bookshelves with the same size that are waterproof that you would recommend?

Q: Can this bookshelf, hold 200 pounds
A: Each shelf can hold only 30 pounds, so it would not hold 200 pounds.

A: Hello, great question but this piece is meant to stand alone.

A: No, it can't be stripped, it's like veneer over particle board.

Q: it is possible to attach swivel casters to it?

submitted byVanessa - 6 years agoTarget staff supportA: Yes, definitely. I assembled it and put it in my 2 year old’s bedroom. It is sturdy (currently holding all 140 of his books). I bought the bookcase in part for the anti-tip hardware, but ended up not using it. The option is certainly nice, but you do not have to use it.

Q: Is there a cut out in the backing under the top shelf?
