Q: Does the color "gray violet" actually have a violet/purple hue to it?

A: I do not consider this to have any violet in it. It feels more like a dove gray. I'm not even sure why they call it gray violet. It is extremely soft and smooth. It also comes in very nice packaging.

A: Hi Laurie9849, this comforter does have a sateen finish to it similar to some sheets. It's not as shiny as satin but it is also not a matte finish

This quilt looked and felt nice when delivered. After I washed and dried it, carefully following instructions, and it came out of the dryer with hard lumps around the edges and uneven filling throughout. I have donated it, and gone back to my softer, silkier and easy to care for quilt of the same typep from Targer for 1/10th the price. Very disappointed--and out a lot of money.

I sleep hot and live in a pretty temperate climate. However, during the cooler months I like the feel of a light comforter. Lyocell is a great fabric for hot sleepers and I like that it’s a more sustainable option. This comforter does keep me very warm but I don’t find myself sweating underneath it like I would with a comforter made from more traditional materials. I use 100% cotton sheets. I love how light and fluffy this comforter is. It really does feel like you’re sleeping under a warm cloud. It’s, also, a very pretty comforter. I have a big dog who likes to jump on the bed, so I do put a quilt over it to protect it. I would definitely recommend washing this comforter in a large capacity washer without an agitator and drying it on extra low heat, taking it out to rearrange it s couple times during the dry cycle.

I’m very picky about comforters and I love this one! Not exactly the material I was looking for but I am still very pleased with this. Keeps me warm without making me sweat, not at all scratchy, not too heavy.

So disappointed that I went against my better judgement in ordering these comforters because of the cozy aspect. (I had to order two for a pair of twin beds in my daughters new room). First wash and they are a lumpy mess. Definitely not worth the price point.

I cannot describe how terribly sweaty I get sleeping under this thing. I am not prone to night sweats, but this comforter is just unusable. Additionally, it doesn't seem compatible with sheets as my top sheet always ends up pushed to the foot of the bed. I have never had that problem with a comforter before. It is also an extreme cat hair magnet and looks terrible after just two weeks of use.

This would have easily been my favorite comforter in the world except the grey color is fading to a yellow. That said, it’s more cozy than a comforter that I paid $200+ on.

I bought this for my 84 year old mom. It just came yesterday, packaging is really high quality and the blanket seems super-soft and perfect for her. She gets cold but doesn't like a heavy weight on her. I'm so impressed I just ordered another blanket for my little granddaughter.

We slept super good on these, I would recommend getting this. Every night I slept in it I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud. It’s VERY big, and it doesn’t make you hot like other blankets do. It makes me look forward to sleeping every night. It’s a perfect product.

me and my husband agree that this has made a huge difference in our sleep. I'm not sure how or why, but it does.its not weighted or heavy so I don't understand how it makes you feel Nested and smuggled in. I normally wake up a few time a night,but for the last week, we have both slept soundly. I have the king size and it hardly cover the sides of my mattress but I'm ok with that in exchange for the comfort and sleep it brings. I washed it when I received it and it did fit in my standard washer, however it burned in my dryer, I should have used LOW heat and I didn't think to do that. it does have small areas where the stuffing is already pulling out so I'm sure thus won't last too long.
Wish there were more stars to give!

My husband and I have been through a lot of comforters trying to find the perfect one and if you are too, look no further! This comforter is hands down the best I have ever had. The fact that I don't sweat with it on or get to cold is reason enough to buy one in every color!

It is as warm as a down comforter, but without the feathers which kept me from ever buying one. The white color brightens up the whole bedroom. It's so puffy and soft!
