I have had a set like this for years. They have held up through many moves. I recently decided to stack them and wanted another set to balance them out. This is almost a perfect match - my previous ones are a little more of a honey color, so a bit darker. But the build quality seems to be the same, so I expect that I’ll have these for years as well.

I ordered 2 but both came defective with gaps at all places that shouldn't have it. the backing to the shelves came broken or not attached to the rest of the components. The foldable shelves were not flush against the other components and it looked too bad to ignore. I had to return and got almost identical shelves somewhere else online.

2/5. The bookcase feels cheap and unstable - I would be extremely apprehensive about stacking them, especially given the length of the pegs. Also, the walnut color looks more like mahogany - very dark and reddish, not at all what I was hoping for. Probably not worth returning, though - it should be all right unstacked. It's all right for the price these days, I guess.

I purchased this bookcase in mahogany finish which is very nice. There is no assembly required. Setting up the bookcase is very easy. Just unfold it and it is done. I am more than satisfied with this bookcase.
