Q: Is it possible to put the handles inside the ottoman instead of them sticking out? If so, does the top still sit firmly or does it make the top wobbly?

A: Hi, Thank you for your interest in our item. The handles on this item are attached directly to the sides. You will not see them when using the tray. Q: I cannot tell from the photos if the top fits inside when you flip it for tray use. Can one only balance it sideways as in the 2 photos ? Thanks in advance ! :-)

This is a nice sturdy piece. It came with two marks in the “leather.” The spots aren’t terribly noticeable. I took pictures of them. Too much trouble to return. I have dogs and I figure it will be marked up by one of them soon enough. I like that it has the tray on it. We have two small tables next to the chair and loveseat, so this is a nice option for an extra place to set things down. The top isn’t very cushy, but it is softer than putting your feet up on a coffee table.

This just arrived and it’s very cute in my entryway. Not exactly sure what I will store in it just yet and I did get it in the white color but I’m hoping I can easily wipe off any marks it gets on it. I took off a star because it’s slightly uneven and rocks a little on my hardwood floor. It’s not a huge ordeal but still I would have prefered it not move at all. No assembly was required so the rocking is not my fault. I tucked in the straps as another reviewer suggested and thank goodness because they are ugly to see. If I didn’t know I could tuck in the straps I would not have gotten it.

This ottoman had a lot of options going for it. Perfect size along side swivel chair. The blue color provides the right amount of pop in my bedroom. The lid/tray is a extra bonus for a evening snack but my main purpose was for filing monthly bills until time to pay with laptop from my comply chair.

Nice ottoman. Very sturdy, and the lid is heavy and well made. My only criticism is that I think the vinyl covering could have been of a higher grade, and the stitching has a couple of threads hanging. The gray one is a medium shade and goes well with my sofa.
