A: This grinder is manufactured in China, but with the same high manufacturing standards and requirements as our items manufactured in Europe.

A: The product is designed and tested for the regular use of grinding coffee beans without breaking. Risk of improper function can be reduced by only using the product in the manner detailed by the manual.

Q: is the cutting/ grinding blade replaceable? I just broke mine in half! the grinder works but it's a mistake to drill holes in the blades. Makes them weaker.

A: This grinder does not have grind settings. You can pulse grind by tapping the grind button or continuously grind by holding it. We recommend 8-10 seconds for a coarse grind; 15-18 for a medium grind and 20-25 for a fine grind.

Would not recommend this. After a few months of use, it wouldn’t grind my beans. It wouldn’t grind if there isn’t enough beans but would overfill and spill over if there’s too much. The button to start it would also get clogged from the beans and wouldn’t stop grinding

I bought this to replace my other bodum grinder. The lid design is different and it doesn’t work as well as my other machine. Grounds fly up between the lid and make a mess. They get into the hole where it plugs up. It also doesn’t work most of the time. The button doesn’t work or it gets stuck and won’t stop. Very disappointed with this purchase!

Its motor started to smoke and produce chemical burned smell after 5 months of use. Since it’s past 90 days, we can’t return it for a refund. It’s a piece of garbage now.

I’m not sure why people are saying it doesn’t grind beans fine. It does whatever you want it to. Great for French Press, espresso or Drip! If you need even grind, you can pulse and it does great! I’d buy again as it’s easy to clean-no fuss! I like that the cord is easily stored away in base. We’ve had ours for 8 months.

This little coffee grinder is definitely helpful and handy while on the go. It’s very compact and it gets the job done. The cord winds into the base and has a notch to keep the plug in place. It isn’t the ideal grinder to use for getting a fine espresso grind. The beans will start to build up and get compacted along the grinder wall if you grind for more than 9-10 seconds. It’s very inconsistent and will have various sizes amongst the grind if you try to get a fine espresso grind. But as I mentioned it gets the job done. It makes a great grind for the French press and the common countertop percolating brewer. So overall I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a compact coffee grinder or are limited on space. It takes up less space than a coffee mug.

A great starter grinder if you’re looking for something to get the job done. Not super noisy but the blade does get a little in the way and you have to scoop the coffee out using a small spoon or other utensil.

The grinder stopped working after two weeks. I opened it up and the electrical components were completely shot. I reached out to Bodum, but because I didn't hold on to the receipt they refused to replace. I guess I didn't expect it to only last two weeks. This is a poorly made product. Pick something else.

Doesn’t grind coffee beans evenly which usually results in very watered down coffee. If it’s too thin or to thick of a ground it will not taste good.

We got a bodum coffee grinder and the on/off button broke. We were stupid enough to get a second bodum grinder, this time the more expensive version thinking it was a fluke. The same exact thing happened after 2 months. Would not recommend!
