A: Hi Annie, I believe you are referring to changing between lbs and kgs. There is a unit button on the back/bottom of the scale. While the scale is on, you can press the button and move from lbs to kgs. If you still have questions, please reach back out. Thanks!

I just bought a scale in store Model #7042T, took it out of the box, followed the instructions, weight myself, 288.6, I had a doctor's appointment today, it was 285, well under the stated 400-pound capacity. As I stepped off I heard a cracking sound and the display went blank. Stepped on it again, still blank, heard another crack when I stepped off. Picked it up and heard plastic rattling around inside. Terrible product.

It worked fine on the first try. It has been one day, and it no longer registers when I step on it without several tries. And when it does register weight it goes up and down over a 50 lb range for more than a minute.

I am well within the scales weight limit but after a short time, the weight reading zeroes out when I stand on it and then gives an error when I step off of it. I thought it was a battery error but even when the battery is replaced, it does not give any weight reading.

I've had this scale for less than 6 months. It will give different results within minutes. Also the rubber has worn out on the foot and metal keeps poking out. This further unbalances the scale until you push the metal back into place.

I recently purchased this scale for its design; however, the accuracy was WAY OFF!!! Like 10 pounds off. I stepped on the scale multiple times, and the weight would swing +/- 8 pounds...minutes later! Definitely returning it and will not likely purchase another Taylor scale.

DO NOT BUY I’ve tried THREE of these and they have ALL BEEN DEFECTIVE :-/ Returned I’ve cannot believe it, why keep making a product that doesn’t work. May work at first but then gives completely inaccurate weights, occasionally correct weight, so you never know when to trust the numbers or not. Sometimes just doesn’t turn on at all. 100% fail and 100% inconsistent:(

Just unboxed today. Seems consistent so far - weighed myself several times and within 0.2 lbs each time. In the instructions it says to step on/off after moving it and before weighing, so wondering if that accounts for some inconsistency being reported. However, arrived covered in greasy fingerprints inside the packaging, which was gross. Had to clean before use.

This scale is extremely poor quality. It's all plastic, and I used it maybe twice and now it no longer responds. Tried replacing the battery, and it comes on for a second but will not weigh anything. Junk. Spend the extra money and get a better scale.
