The shelf is sturdy enough. Unfortunately the faux wood finish is peeling and flaking off within a year of purchase.

When I nailed in one of the screws, it broke through one of the flimsy pieces so there is an obvious defect. Otherwise it is nice. It takes 2 people to put together and you need a level, a stud finder and a screwdriver. A drill helps for the part you have to hang on the wall!

I really like the shelf :) the only thing is maybe put stickers with the letter on the pieces to make the assembling part better and easier to build other than that great shipping and no damages.

This shelf looks great in our entryway—sort of a brown-gray mushroom color. Nicely made for laminated particle board. Did not have the experience of another reviewer of the visible raw edge. It looks like a decent piece of furniture. It took me and my daughter about 30-45 minutes to build. Hanging on our plaster walls took my husband and I another hour—not complicated, just tricky finding studs and working with a small space in our 100 year old home. Paired with floor bins, our kids now have their own “closet” space. A nice looking, functional addition. Very happy with it.

Pieces were not labeled which made assembly a little harder. Unfinished edge on the bottom of the stabilizer shows, which is unfortunate. Overall we like the piece, but it could’ve been made better.

Bought this to hang in my narrow entry way. It is exactly what I wanted. I did get a little frustrated putting it together, but hanging it was so easy (normally the part I get frustrated with) due to the mounting system. Good buy!
