We washed the comforter before the first use. I followed the care instructions for water and dryer temperatures. However, the comforter batting melted inside the cloth; it bunched up and could not be separated out. The outer cloth also melted to the batting. The comforter was completely ruined and I had to return it.

Just as a future suggestion, it is recommended a Large Capacity Washer/Dryer such as Laundromat be used when washing this set, as damage can occur if there is not enough room for the item to move around. This set comes with everything we needed. The blanket is comfortable and stylish. It brings a sense of style to his room but still provides the comfort that you’d look for in a blanket and sheet set.

The one thing I love about this comforter is it has a pop of silver triangular all throughout the comforter. let’s just say it adds a little bit of elegance especially when you have the lights on the shimmering of the silver makes it a unique comforter.

I saw another post about this, but I'm so disappointed. We bought this a couple months ago. It really is beautiful, but my daughter's pillowcase metallic marks are fading!!! I've only washed it a handful of times! And the worse part ,I have yet to find a replacement without having to but the whole set which I refuse.

Bought it for my 12 year old daughter in purple and it looks great and she agrees. She has teal and white colors in her room and it was very complementary. The smaller pillows are the cutest! Make sure you get some overfilled pillows to fill up the shams!

We just painted and gave my 11yo daughter’s bedroom an update and we love this comforter set! BUT, we are disappointed with the pillow sham——it is NOT what is pictured on line, or on the picture on the package! It’s kind of ugly, completely covered with solid, mirrored triangles (instead of the well, spaced out triangles pictured). I ordered another comforter set, thinking we got an ‘irregular sham’ but the second set had the same ugly sham. We love everything else about the set, especially the throw pillows. Also, when she has her ‘fairy’ lights on at night, the metallic triangles make her bed look lighted (pretty cool), so we will be keeping it.
Very bad quality. Don’t waste your money.

I was so excited to get these comforter sets for my girls bedroom. After two weeks of being on their bed, one discolored, started to fade to an almost pinkish tone. A also, after just one wash, the comforter bunches up even when tumble drying on delicate low. This purchase was a waste of money, but thank goodness I got them on sale.

The comforter set is extremely cute with the metallic print, and a perfect weight for her. All the components are well made and have held up beautifully to laundering. The set includes the comforter, 2 pillow shams, a ruffled throw pillow and a throw pillow with "hello" embroidered on. This is definitely a winner!
