Sydney Adjustable Dining Table Brown - Boraam

Very unstable, easily tips. Will have to dismantle, repackage, and return it — frustrating!

We purchased this table 2.5 years ago and it has withstood regular use as our main coffee table and occasional use as a dining table. It was the perfect multi-functioning apartment table: exactly what we needed!

Table was assembled easily but as soon as stood up, one of the legs broke at the joint. Will be returning.

This is an amazing piece for my living room specially because I have a small space and Been in a search for coffee- dinning table alternative. However there’s major QA defect for this table. The first piece they sent was defected and the wholes DONT line up with the screws and there’s no way to fix it (unlike the other comment how it was able to managed by being handy)... so target sent another one. It was SO DEPRESSING when I first see the top because it was not flat my heart really dropped the moment I see it wasn’t flat...... however I decided to try to see if it works, I’m glad after all the legs are screwed in it flatted out but I was not expecting that when I first got it..... it worked out but it was a crazy expensive of trying to make it work. I would recommend this table but be prepared on the journey of trying to get this work!!!

The table is pretty but it has an assembly issue as noted by others. Overall, for the money, I recommend if: 1. you are handy enough, and have the tools needed, to work out the assembly flaws, 2. you don't see yourself constantly moving it from table to coffee table format 3. if you don't mind it getting the odd ding with normal use. More detail: The table has three sets of holes on the bottom where you attach the three leg pieces. Easy enough, except one set of holes does not line up with the leg assembly. See photos. In order to make it work, I pulled out two dowels, and drilled one hole slightly larger in order to get the parts to line up for assembly. If you don't have a wrench and a drill handy, you'll be frustrated. Without those issues, the table would have been easy to assemble. Some other comments: The wood is on the softer side and will dent easily - as it did when I laid my slightly heavy wrench on the underside of the table during assembly. You can see the dents on the underside if you zoom in on some of the photos. When converted to table height, the leg tops are supposed to slide into small square cutouts in the bottom of the table but they don't all fit perfectly into the cutouts - i chiseled mine out to make them correct (but that means you need a chisel in addition to the wrench and drill). The slot fit issue coupled with the table legs having a pivot point in the middle, mean table will wobble a bit if you shake it. Not a deal breaker, but don't expect to stand on this table to change a lightbulb because you'll dent the soft wood on top before falling off.

Surprising value for the price. Solid wood, beautiful color. I wouldn't recommend this table for homes with small children since if you place a lot of weight the table may tip over. However, I wouldn't call the table unstable, if properly set-up. Assembly literally took less than 10 minutes including unpacking.

This piece is better than I expected. Easy to assemble. Really looks nice!
