The Lettuce Ware Candlestick was created in collaboration with iconic potter Dodie Thayer. Known as the “Pottery Queen of Palm Beach,” Dodie was a true American artisan and entrepreneur, whose pieces have been collected by legendary hostesses since the 1960s. She is part of an artistic tradition that goes back centuries, a history of lettuce ware interpreted by different cultures around the world. Each candlestick is delicately molded, detailed and painted by hand. Set of two.

Delicate and detailed!

These candle sticks are quite lifelike. I truly believe Dodie Thayer would have them in her home! Just lovely and have a nice weight so they don't tip.

Beautiful additional to the table

We used these on the table tor Mother's Day brunch and they were beautiful. The height was nice on them and the color was gorgeous.

Unique and Beautiful Addition to Table

I don’t believe anyone else has commented on how well these candleholders are packaged. The Tory design on the sturdy box creates a perfect long term storage for the items. Each candleholder is surrounded in the box by foam that can remain as protection. The holders themselves are beautiful, giving an authentic tropical feel to my dining table. I purchased the pink, and I combine them with bamboo white plates, and pale pink goblets, along with Tory’s pale green design placemats. The total effect is soft and romantic.
