I’ve owned hundreds mouses over the years, from expensive “gaming” ones to ergonomic ones & even cheap clone mouses. If you ask me, nothing beats Logitech when talking about great PC mouses and the G305 further proves that point. It’s entirely personal preference but personally I find the weight of the mouse to be perfect & despite being a wireless model, there’s basically no latency ( if I remember correctly, Logitechs “light speed” models can actually out perform their non LS counterparts). The mouse is comfortable & reliable enough to easily be used for hours on end no matter what your purpose is, whether that’s long gaming sessions or simple office work without getting tiresome or needing recharging every 15 minutes like a lot of other mouses do at this price point.
The mouse comes with a DPI switch button too (that isn’t easily mistakenly clicked lol) so you can switch between your low DPI for gaming & high dpi for work with the simple click of a button.
Overall, it’s a great choice if you need a mouse for both gaming and office work, if you’re looking for a “gaming” only mouse I’d look at Logitech’s other options such as the G502 or g402 (wireless and wired models are both great) but this mouse won’t hold you back either way.
