I have been using clippers to cut my hair for a few years now and recently bought the Philips for a few reasons. One, great value for money. Two, they have a built in height adjustment using a dial rather than choosing from a bundle of different height combs. My old trimmer is good but the combs range from 4mm to 16mm and then a jump to 25mm. Too short or too long. Most trimmers come with up with up to 6 or 8 different size combs.
The new Philips has 2 main combs and a dial setting that goes up from 4mm to 25mm. Plus an extra close comb to clip around the neck really close. I set it for 21mm and it is perfect. The battery easily lasts 2 or more hair cuts before it needs recharging. It sits well in the hand and is lighter than my old one so it was easier to handle. The motor is strong with no fading of power and the blades cut beautifully.
It is also ridiculously easy to clean! Over all the best trimmer I have ever owned and I recommend you give it a go. Plus...cutting your own hair saves hundreds of dollars a year at least and if your in a hot country like Australia (and not dedicated to fashion), then a neat, close cut is all bloke wants or needs.
