While I have long run for fitness, I am (very) late to the road running game training for my first half marathon with my daughter who is 34 years my junior :) I wanted to take some nutrition with me on longer training runs and tried a few different gels for efficiency since they seemed like a lightweight solution -- literally could not get it down my throat. Heard about Skratch from one of the Peloton running coaches (I use their training programs for running and cycling). I *love* the chocolate/PB and the cherry/pistachio, but they all taste great -- like real food that I would make for myself. Have used those before/after runs. I also tried the energy chews (raspberry -- which I liked a lot and I just got the variety pack to try) which I use during the runs. Quick energy and not sickly sweet. Highly recommend both!
With everything that life is throwing at me, one of these (or two!) in my purse helps me avoid hitting empty before I manage everything 'to do' in my day. Not only am I grateful for your 'REAL' ingredients, I can promise you that those around me are grateful also.
These energy bars are my favorite grab and go before or during a run, workout, or hike! Fantastic taste and easy to digest.
These are great before my runs! Either a 5 or 10k or 7mi distance! I wish they made more flavors as I'm starting to get bored of the same ones but they work great and don't upset my stomach.
