Brand new, and looks nice. The controls are on the top and impossible to see if it's on the floor and you're across the room in a chair. It only has 4 speeds, but meh, ok. Rotate and a timer. That's it. I have it in my office and it works. It was too small for our larger living room dining room combination. It made a faint chirping noise at first but that stopped. Packing was incredible.
