A clean and simple look that fits just about anywhere. You can combine it with other desks or drawer units in the MICKE series to extend your work space. The clever design at the back hides messy cables.

Product details

It’s easy to keep sockets and cables out of sight but close at hand with the cable outlet at the back.

You can mount the storage unit to the right or left, according to your space or preference.

Air ventilates effectively around your computer or other equipment because of an opening in the back panel.

Drawer stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far.

You can extend your work surface by combining desks and drawer units. All desks and drawer units in the MICKE series are the same height.

You can adjust the shelves to fit different things, and adjust them again whenever you need to. Adjustable shelves help you use your space more efficiently.

    Wipe clean using a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.

    For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

simple and compact for small spaceJonatanit's stable, sturdy and doesn't wobble after assembling, just be careful when screwing in the holes as it can chip off the colored wood easily. i assembled it all with my hands & the tools provided. it was a bit difficult screwing in the metal legs. but i liked the feeling of satisfaction after seeing the desk completed while feeling the soreness in my fingers.5

Terrible instructions Anonymous reviewerInstruction for most Ikea products are bad, but these were particularly terrible. None of the parts and screws are numbered…yes, you can eventually figure out which is which, but its incredibly annoying…just put parts numbers to avoid headaches. Two of the cam screw locations are terrible…right under one of the wooden bars…you cannot use a regular screwdriver because it doesnt fot. I dont see a button here to upload pics, but I had to use a snake screwdriver to fit it under the tiny space. Lastly, Ikea made it so difficult to even put this review. Couldn’t do it from the app, had to log in to the website, made me change password, sent 2 security codes…they are honestly so annoying with their way of doing business…you want to sell in America, adopt American way of doing business, PERIOD.2

Micke deskStephanieThe color was just what I was looking for, and it fits perfectly in my space. I actually bought two to put side by side. I like the shelves. The drawers are a good size. My only complaint would be that the drawers and door are not the smoothest to open/close, but for the price it’s great! The larger drawer didn’t slide at all on one desk, and customer service was excellent and will be sending a replacement. I’m very please with my purchase and with IKEA’s service. Delivery was also great! 5

Small, attractive study/ work table AwaisIt was not too hard to build but I think the directions included could've been better. They were missing steps and specific directions for certain pieces. So, use you own common sense judgement and have at it. Asides from that it is a nice little table for your room or a small area, it is sturdy but one downside is there is no handle to pull the drawers out. 5

The Micke is excellent for home use by way of hot desking, guest room, student use on a permanent or casual basis. I liked the desk because it's compact, it meets my personal requirements for a laptop and large monitor screen.

Easy to set up, aesthetically fits in with so much! Plenty of room in the drawers and cupboard. I like that the cupboard can be on either side. Great that there is hole at the back of the desktop for cords.

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.

"My idea with the MICKE series was to simplify everything we do with our computers and mobile phones in today's high-tech world. Like keeping in touch with friends, downloading films and music, working or printing out tickets. The goal was to create a real dream product with maximum functions in a minimum space. One smart thing is the built-in cable management, so you can hide away all the cables. Another is that all the parts have the same depth and height so everyone can create their own favorite combination."
