Upgraded an older, slower HP Pavilion to this one. Meeting expectations for improvement. Had the Geek Squad transfer all my data. Also updated Office suite. Escaped the bloat ware and other software that had accumulated over the past 12 years or so. Don’t do gaming or high demand graphics apps, so no comments on that. Seems great for general use.

I read some of the reviews before I purchased this computer. Mostly the bad ones because I wanted to know what issues to look out for. I figured I had maybe a 50/50 chance of getting a good one, and with the 14 day return policy, I figured I would give it a try. I had/have the exact same model from the previous year with the 9th generation Intel Core processor. The computer is great and I have not had any issues with it whatsoever. Truth be told, I can't tell the difference between this 10th generation and the 9th generation as far as the speed is concerned. They work the same, so if you have a 9th generation computer and it's working, keep it and save your money. They only issue that I do have with this computer over the 9th generation is that this one is just a tiny bit louder. This one makes a noise that the 9th generation computer did not, but other than that, it's excellent. Good Luck !

At first the computer was fantastic. Then after a day it started to randomly freeze. The screen would lock up and not respond to any input and the only solution was to force shut off the computer. After trying for over a week to find a solution I tried to do a complete reset. Guess what happened during that reset. The computer froze again and threw it into a boot loop. So I returned it and bought a cheaper Dell PC. Upon further research I learned that this random freezing issue seems to be a HP exclusive issue. Not sure what causes it or how to tell if you will have the issue.

I'M KINDA HAPPY WITH HP I7 10700, FROM TIME TO TIME IT SHOWS STATIC OR FLICKERS FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS I DON'T WHAT TO CALL IT, BUT OVERALL IT'S VERY FAST VERY CLEAR SCREEN, I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN BUTWOULD HAVE TO BE ENHANCE A LITTLE...

Works wonderfully and it was quick shipping. I called customer service for their recommendation and this was the one it suits all my needs. I ended up recommending this same product to a friend, that purchased it a week later.

I returned this product within two days. No built-in speakers so I used a bluetooth speaker I had lying around but the sound still didn't work. Youtube videos wouldn't play and would continuously buffer--apparently this is a known issue with Windows & Chrome according to the HP forums. However, after some independent troubleshooting & request for help from a support member through chat, the issues could not be resolved.

I unfortunately ended up returning this PC for an all-in-one, which fit my needs better. Functionality seemed like any other. Able to handle multiple projects going on at the same time. Speed worked great. However, I had issues with it connecting to my Bluetooth speakers and ultimately just wasn’t the right set up for my full time online learning needs.
